L-Arginine has numerous functions in the body and is considered a semi-essential amino acid as the body cannot always manufacture enough for daily requirements.

HealthWise® Amino Powders are pure pharmaceutical grade powders and are packed by weight not volume, without the use of fillers or flowing agents. Some of the powders are slightly hygroscopic (retain moisture) and this can result in clumping. This can be broken apart with a spoon before taking or dissolved in water.
SERVING SUGGESTION:
L-Arginine is generally well absorbed orally and can be added to foods or liquids. Studies suggest an average adult serving would be between 2 and 20g depending on diet and other contributing factors.
TIPS:
Arginine levels can best be maintained by not taking it continuously. A schedule of four weeks of continuous use followed by a two-week break is suggested. When carbohydrates are present in large amount, particularly when combined with high body temperatures, Arginine can be rendered nutritionally unavailable to the body, so take well away from carbohydrate based meals.
